  1. Scope

  1. Scope

This Shipping Policy describes how prescription medications and supplies are shipped to you through the Leader Health Platform. Medications are shipped by independent licensed Pharmacies; Leader Health coordinates shipment and provides tracking information.

  1. Where we ship

  1. Where we ship

We ship within the United States — to addresses in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, subject to each state's pharmacy and shipping rules and the dispensing Pharmacy's licensure or registration to ship to that state (see State Restrictions & Availability). We do not ship to international addresses, P.O. boxes for cold-chain medications, freight forwarders, or commercial addresses that cannot accept temperature-sensitive packages.

  1. Processing and transit times

  1. Processing and transit times

After a Provider issues a prescription and the Pharmacy completes its review, your order is processed and shipped. Total time from prescription to delivery typically ranges from 3 to 7 business days, but may vary based on Pharmacy queue, weather, carrier delays, holidays, and clinical hold requirements. Stated timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

  1. Carriers, tracking, and signature

  1. Carriers, tracking, and signature

We ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS, with tracking sent to your account email. Most shipments do not require a signature; we may require a signature for controlled substances, high-value shipments, or where local law requires. We will tell you in advance if a signature is required.

  1. Cold-chain shipments

  1. Cold-chain shipments

Some medications require refrigeration during transit and ship with insulated packaging and cold packs. You agree to:

  • Track your shipment and be available to receive it on the delivery day.

  • Open the package promptly upon delivery.

  • Refrigerate refrigerated medications immediately after delivery, per the medication's labeling.

If a cold pack is fully melted on arrival or the medication appears unsafe, do not use it. Contact your care team at care@myleaderhealth.com with photos of the package and contents; the Pharmacy will determine whether to replace it.

  1. Drug recalls and safety alerts

  1. Drug recalls and safety alerts

If a medication you have received through the Service becomes the subject of a recall or safety alert issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the dispensing Pharmacy, or the manufacturer, Leader Health will (i) notify you through the email and, where appropriate, the text-message contact methods on file for your account as promptly as practicable after Leader Health becomes aware of the recall, (ii) explain whether the recall is voluntary or mandatory and which lot or formulation is affected, and (iii) coordinate with your Provider so your Provider can give you clinical guidance on whether to stop using the product, return it, or take any other action. Where the recall calls for return or destruction, Leader Health will provide return-shipping instructions and, where the recall covers a medication you paid for and have not used, refund or replace the affected product consistent with the Refunds & Cancellations policy.

  1. Damaged or missing shipments

  1. Damaged or missing shipments

Inspect your shipment on arrival. Report damaged, defective, or missing shipments to support@myleaderhealth.com within 7 days of the carrier's marked-delivered date. We will work with the carrier and the Pharmacy to resolve the issue, which may include replacement at no additional cost where the loss was not your fault. Lost or stolen packages that the carrier confirms as delivered may be at your risk; we will help file a carrier claim where possible.

8. Refused or undeliverable shipments

If a shipment is refused, undeliverable, or returned because of an incorrect address, an inability to deliver, or your failure to be available when required, the Pharmacy may, in its discretion and consistent with applicable law:

  • Re-ship the medication and charge a reasonable re-shipping fee, or

  • Cancel the shipment without refund (since dispensed prescription medications cannot be returned to inventory).

Keep your shipping address current in your dashboard.

  1. Title and risk of loss

Title and risk of loss to medications pass to you upon delivery by the carrier.

  1. No return of dispensed medications

Once a prescription medication leaves the Pharmacy, it cannot be returned, restocked, or refunded for safety and regulatory reasons. Exceptions may apply for shipment errors (wrong medication, wrong dose, damaged in transit) per Sections 5 and 6.

  1. Acceptable use

Injectable therapies include sharps where applicable. Dispose of used needles in an FDA-cleared sharps container and follow your local guidance for disposal. Do not place used needles in household trash or recycling.
